10.  Frank George FOSTER, b. Mch 27th 1906 in Birmingham England, d. Mch 26th 1966 in Adelaide, cremated 28th March 1966 in Centenial Park Goodwood Ashes scattered on Eva's grave.    Frank came to S.A.in 1922 as a Barwell Boy,was sent to Spalding on a farm for 3 years.This ended up as a disaster, these 16 year old lads were brought out from England with the understanding that after a 3 year apprentiship they would be helped by the Govt to purchase land to set themselves up with a farm of their own. This never happened as the Govt of the day of Sir John Barwell ( hence the name "Barwell Boys") was defeated at the elections and the incoming Govt disbanded the schems.
       He then bought a truck carting from Adelaide, this also ended badly as trucks in those days were of poor quality and as was tyres etc plus the Great Depression was kicking in so he went broke.
       Went to Cudgee Victoria ( Just outside Warrnambool) on a dairy for 2 yrs, then to a farm at Burra for 10 years. From there to a carrier, Maurice Pritchard, in Burra, and then to the Railways from 1946 to 1955  Had serious illnes, Haemorrhage of the brain, in 1955 and was an invalid until death at 59 one day before his 60th birthday. Frank was a very accomplished violinist, together with wife Eva they played for dances for years The band was called "The Rainmakers", Eva was a very fastidius house keeper, in her single days was a domestic help at Booborowie. Eva & Frank milked 90 cows night & morning at Warrnambool for two years when Bob was 12 months old and while  Eva  was  pregnant  with  Colin. Eva  was  a  very  hard  worker,  a  gifted  pianist ,she  died  at  49 years  of  age. He married Eva Aileen BUTLER, Mar 03 1930, b. June 30th 1909 in Broken Hill, d. Oct 15 1958 in Burra. South Australia., buried Oct 17 1958 in Burra. South Australia.

Nov 8th 1986 in Bow Hill, cremated Nov 10th 1986 in Enfield Crematorium Enfield Ashhes scattered on Alberton Oval.  .Started work Baldina Stn Burra 1944,then went to Philmac's as a Fitter/Turner. Started  work about 1949  at Lovells Bakery as a breadcarterwith with a horse & van.
        Left there in  about 1952 to go to the E.W S as a Truck Driver until 1986. Would have stayed with Lovells but housing was very hard to find and the Govt were offering houses at Centenial Park if the man worked for the EWS  Bob  was a very good sportsman, soccer,tennis,and in his youth was a  very good boxer Had considerable success as a greyhound trainer & owner. Bob collapsed and died on the tennis court at Bow Hill playing his loved sport. He married Iris ROWLANDS, Dec 06 1952 in Adelaide, b. Jan 07 1932 in England.

19.  Colin John FOSTER, b. Nov 19th 1932 in Warnambool.  Colin started work 1947 as a cowboy then stationhand at Braemar Stn East of Burra then  to Redcliff Station near  Burra He then drove a 2 horse trolly in Adelaide in 1949 for carriers
       He was a shearer for 23 years best tally 231and shore mainly in SA but also shore in WA Victoria NSW  Was also a truck driver, a farmhand, leased a sheep property in Vic. and owned  trucks carting concrete, gravel, furniture, and carted up to 300000 bales of hay a year when living at Naracoorte. He married (1) Gwenda May TELLAM, b. Oct 23rd1933 in Adelaide, d. 7th August 2014 in 21 Vanstone Ave Morphettvale.  He married (2) Coral Deanna Schultz, Nov1980 in Morphettvale, b. 20.  Trevor Roland FOSTER, b. Jun 30 1942 in Burra, d. April 22nd 1982 in Maitland, buried 24 th Apr 1982 in Maitland.  Trevor  started work in 1956 at Ivanhoe NSW as a station hand  . Left there in 1960 and joined the EWS, Worked his way up to a District Foreman ,a very conscientious worker died at 39 of cancer. He married (1) Mary Jean WILLIAMS, Sept 1964 in Jamestown SA, b. 1943 in Jamestown SA.  He married (2) Edna Brodie Foster, 14th April 1981 in Maitland SA, b. 20th Oct 1941 in Edinburgh Scotland.

21.  Graham Bruce FOSTER, b. Aug 05 1943 in Born Burra Hospital. Died, d. 22nd May 2014 in Mannum.   Graham started work in the shearing sheds as a shedhand in 1957, from there he went to the EWS as a labourer progressing thru the ranks to become a Foreman. Went into buisness as a crash repairer then a Concrete pump operater. Now  employed  in  the  concrete industry as a driver for Pioneer Concrete. Graham retired in 2004 and moved with marion to their "shack" at Mannum which was no longer a shack having built a very nice elevated home on the site.Graham died of cancer on the 22nd May 2014. He married Marion Ruth STEPHENS, May 15 1965 in Darlington, Adelaide, b. May 7th 1945 in B/Hill.

32.  Robert John FOSTER, b. Feb 24 1959 in Adelaide.  Robert started work when he was 15 and in the first twelve months he had 6 jobs, since then he has been at Australia Post and is now in his 23rd year. Robert is an exceptional sportsman excelling in football and in his young days was a most promising boxer. Robert finally left the Australia Post and bought a concrete truck with Hallett's Concrete then moved to Boral Concrete. Owned his truck for 6 years then sold it and now works for Boral as a semitipper driver. He married Kerry Ann STEPHANOS, b. Nov 4th 1963.

33.  Patricia May FOSTER, b. Mar 04 1960 in Adelaide.  Patrica  has  a background in nursing, social work and a degree in Communication studies.  She has spent most of her working life in nursing and welfare area.  At present she is employed as a Counsellor with the Alcohol Drug Information Service.  She  married Rodney Jones on the 16th of January 1988, and has two children, Evan Lawrence Foster Jones D.O.B 15/2/89 and Bronwyn Marie Foster Jones D.O.B 3/5/92. 34.  Kym Frank Foster, b. 2nd Sept 1956 in Northern Community Hospital .Prospect.  Kym joined the R.A.N. in 1973 and  was discharged in 1980 He  then purchased a concrete truck in 1980 & drove that for 6 years He also  bought a concrete pump in 1984 which he operated himself and employed a driver on the truck, sold both the truck and the pump in 1986 and  joined the South Australian Police Force rising to the rank of Sergeant . He was a Patrol Officer  then in the Multicultural Division then in the Drug Action Team. He married (1) Julie Francis FLANAGAN, Mar 28 1981 in Camelot Casle Basket Range., b. Dec 17 1958 in Divorced 1st March 2007.  Partner Fiona Rippin, b. 4th April 1956 in Memorial Hospital North Adelaide, not married Relationship with Kym as of Jan2009.
